About me
Hello! I’m Julia and I am deeply passionate about helping people live their lives in a way that allows them to be their full selves. So often we keep parts of ourselves hidden away, or put on a mask to be more approachable, friendly, or acceptable to the people around us, leaving us feeling alone and disconnected.
I am warm, genuine, and a pretty darn good listener. I believe that we should all show up authentically, and you’ll get the same from me. If I have questions, thoughts, or ideas, I will share them with you. I will validate and encourage you, and also offer another perspective when you want it. I am here to make and hold space for you because you deserve it.
I’ve spent my career working with individuals during the hard moments of their lives, whether immediately after a traumatic experience, or in the hospital during scary and vulnerable moments when everything felt hopeless. Before becoming a licensed clinical social worker I worked as a domestic and sexual violence advocate for over 15 years before pursuing my practices, and I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.
What is important to know is that I love working with individuals who are seeking to explore past experiences and the ways they are showing up and limiting us in the present. I enjoy sitting with you as you find ways your current challenges are connected to your past, and helping you find new beliefs about yourself.
